1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email address), information generated through your use of the Service (render history, uploaded images, usage data), and payment information processed securely through Stripe (we do not store your full card details). We also collect standard server logs including IP addresses and browser information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process payments and manage your subscription, send important account notifications and service updates, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Your Uploaded Images
Images you upload to DesignLock AI are used solely to generate your renders. We do not use your uploaded images to train AI models without your explicit consent. Your render history is stored securely and is only accessible to your account. You may request deletion of your images, render history, or account data at any time by contacting us.
4. Data Sharing
We share your data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the Service, including: Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), and OpenAI (AI rendering). Each provider has their own privacy policy and data protection practices. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Render history is retained for up to 12 months for paid plans and 30 days for free accounts. Uploaded images are retained for 30 days after generation. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning correctly.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may download saved renders from your render history when available. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at privacy@designlock.ai. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
